Christy Rollinson is the Forest Ecologist at The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois.  As a research scientist, much of her work looks at how individual trees, forest communities, and ecosystems respond to changing weather and climate.  Christy’s work involves a variety of approaches, including tree rings, phenology and citizen science, and computer modeling. 

Christy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Environmental Studies from Oberlin College and a Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees in Ecology from Penn State University. At The Morton Arboretum, Christy has been highly involved with science and climate change communication to a variety of professional and non-professional audiences.
